Welcome Practicum Students!

Our school and preschool program have welcomed practicum students this Fall. 

One of our practicum students is from Ambrose University and is joining us in Turtle Mountain two days a week. This practicum provides students with the opportunity to begin integrating theory and practice.  Alyssa will be working alongside us in the classroom and as part of various programming around the school until April. 

We also welcome Kellie, completing a practicum for her Counselling and Psychology Masters program from the University of Lethbridge. Kellie’s practicum at New Heights is in partnership with Rocky Mountain Psychological Services.  Kellie will be joining us in the classroom and in sessions until April. Kellie will be a familiar face to many as she was on staff with our Home & Community Support program until returning to school.

We are excited to give practicum students the opportunity to learn from our wonderful community here at New Heights!  Welcome!
