Welcome Practicum Students!

Our school and preschool program have welcomed a number of practicum students this Fall.  We have students from the Disabilities Program at Bow Valley College and a student from Ambrose University onsite at New Heights each week. This practicum provides these students with the opportunity to begin integrating theory and practice in the provision of support services.  Madison, Funmi, and Andrea will be working alongside us in the classrooms and as part of various programming around the school until just before Winter Break.

We also welcome Megan, our Occupational Therapy student from the University of Alberta who is continuing to work alongside Jen and Christine for the next several weeks.

We are excited to give practicum students the opportunity to learn from our wonderful community here at New Heights!  Welcome!
