Spring Break with Home and Community Support

New Heights Home and Community Support organized three play dates over the week of Spring Break.

We visited the Fire Station and got to explore fire trucks! We also watched a fireman slide down the pole and show us how he gets dressed when there is a fire. Thank you to the amazing crew from the Calgary Fire Department who hosted us!

We invited a music therapist from JB Music to run a music class for us. Miss Kate brought her guitar and a bunch of fun instruments for everyone to try out. Two highlights were the parachute song and throwing and catching scarves.

To wrap up Spring Break we visited the Bowladrome in the basement of Chinook Centre. Bowling is a great way to practice taking turns and waiting for our friends.

Now we can start planning the summer play date calendar!
