Occupational Therapist (0.6 FTE)

New Heights School & Learning Services runs a unique specialized program tailored to autistic or otherwise neurodivergent children, youth and young adults. New Heights is a play-based program that utilizes the strengths and interests of each student to address developmental goals.

We are currently looking for one part time Occupational Therapist (0.6) for our school program. 

This position will include providing intervention, assessment, and consultation services in the school, with an emphasis on regulation, sensory integration, interpersonal relationships, as well as life and employment skills.

The ideal candidate will:

• be a flexible team member with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• be registered or eligible to be registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapy
• have current professional liability insurance
• have experience working with autistic or otherwise neurodivergent children and/or youth
