If you missed registering your child for the
NEW HEIGHTS BACKYARD summer camp,
you might still be able to join in the fun!
Throughout the summer we will offer drop-in spots when available. Please contact the email or phone below to check availability.
A refresher of what it is all about …
WHAT:
- 8-week summer camp for 7-12 year olds that attend New Heights School
- Run by New Heights Home and Community staff
WHEN and WHERE:
- 9:00am to 1:00pm July 3 – August 23
- Tuesdays at New Heights
- Thursdays at a community park [South Glenmore Park (8415 24 St SW)]
- You can sign up for any combination of days
WHY:
- Spend time in the summer with familiar friends from school
- Have opportunities to practice social conversation, problem-solving, teamwork, compromise, flexibility, and play!
- A variety of indoor and outdoor activities that will be based on registered campers interests. Some past examples: build a fort, watch a movie, make awesome LEGO creations, ride bikes in the parade square, walk to the playground, have a water fight, bake and MORE!!
COST:
- Drop-in fee $25/day
- Fun and nutritional snacks and water will be provided. Campers will be asked to bring a water bottle with them
