Welcome Practicum Students!

Our school and preschool program have welcomed a number of practicum students this Fall. 

We have a student from the Disabilities Program at Bow Valley College with us each week. This practicum provides students with the opportunity to begin integrating theory and practice in the provision of support services.  Helen will be working alongside us in the classrooms and as part of various programming around the school until just before Winter Break. 

We also welcome Dan and Kayla, our Occupational Therapy students from the University of Alberta who are continuing to work alongside Jen and Christine for the next several weeks.  Dan and Kayla started the year off with us on the first day of school, and will be in the classes and around the building until the end of October.

We are excited to give practicum students the opportunity to learn from our wonderful community here at New Heights!  Welcome!
